How we handle the information you send us when you inquire about a stay or a retreat.

LAST UPDATED AUGUST 2026

What we collect

When you contact us by WhatsApp, telephone, or email, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, the contact details you write from, your travel dates, and anything you tell us about your practice or your health that is relevant to taking part.

This website has no booking form, no payment system, and no account system. We do not collect anything automatically beyond what your browser sends to whoever hosts the site.

What we use it for

To answer you, to plan your stay, and to keep a record of your booking. Health information you send us is used only so the teaching team can adapt the practice safely.

Who else sees it

Your message reaches Pom and, where relevant, the teaching team. If you ask us to arrange something with a third party — airport transport, a massage practitioner, a local guide — we pass on only what that arrangement needs.

WhatsApp and email are operated by third-party companies under their own terms. We do not control how those services handle messages in transit.

How long we keep it

Inquiry and booking correspondence is kept while it is useful for running the retreat and for our records, and deleted when it no longer is. We will confirm a specific retention period here once it has been agreed.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to pomcayeiro@gmail.com and we will respond.

Cookies and analytics

This build of the site does not run analytics or any non-essential cookies, so there is no cookie banner. If analytics or any non-essential cookie is added later, this notice and a consent banner will be added before it goes live.
