Food at Chann Jiva — Three Farm Meals a Day
The kitchen

Three meals a day.
Grown right here
on the farm.

A light breakfast, then lunch and dinner — authentic Thai cooking with a light fusion hand, prepared each day from what our on-site gardens are producing that week. Simple food, made carefully, that keeps you steady through a long day of practice.

How we cook

Three quiet rules.

01

Grown on the property.

Our own gardens grow what the menu becomes. The few items we don't grow ourselves come from neighbors within walking distance — hyper-local, seasonal, and fully traceable.

02

Authentically Thai.

We cook the food of this region as it is actually eaten — Isaan and central Thai dishes, with the occasional fusion turn. Much of what we serve is vegetarian. Please ask about dietary requirements before booking, so we can tell you honestly what our kitchen can do.

03

Minimally processed.

Whole ingredients, cooked in the traditional Thai way — grilled, steamed, gently stir-fried. Nothing hidden, nothing showy, nothing you can't identify on the plate.

A day of eating

A sample menu.

An example of a typical retreat day — not a fixed menu. Everything shifts with the season, the garden, and the group.

Breakfast is deliberately light: fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea before the morning practice. Lunch and dinner are the full meals of the day.

Light and simple — coconut yogurt, dragon fruit and banana, coffee, and Thai tea.
